Humane Society draws supporters to county meeting

GALLUP — It was standing room only at the McKinley County Commission meeting Tuesday with supporters of the Gallup-McKinley County Humane Society filling the majority of the courtroom benches to lend their support to Director Cosy Balok, who presented a new contract featuring the reduction in service hours based upon the reduced operating budget of $100,000.
